Karen has been named the “friendly accountant” by colleagues.  She has over 25 years of experience in the business field, including managerial, financial, and administrative in both non-profit and for-profit domains.

Karen holds a MBA from California State University at Long Beach. She began her work life with the American Red Cross.   Other nonprofits she has worked for include New City Parish, Chapel of Peace, FirstServe and Clothes the Deal.  She has received extensive nonprofit management training from the Center for Nonprofit Management and the Long Beach Nonprofit Partnership.

Karen enjoys working with start-ups, seniors and anyone who wants to keep tracking of where there money goes. She is involved with the Manhattan Beach Professional Group, The North Redondo Beach Business Association, South Bay Business Women’s Association, and M.A.P.S.

Karen is a member of the South Coast Botanical Garden, the Living Desert and the Grammy Museum. She has lived in the South Bay most of her life and works with many clients in all of the South Bay and California.
